Community-based education focuses on livelihood safety awareness and mental health and psychosocial support during emergencies. TEEC addresses the root causes of stress and trauma while also tackling the disadvantages created by conflicts within the community. One of the greatest benefits of living in a peaceful community is the opportunity for growth and healing. TEEC advocates for peacebuilding and organizes training programs for community members, especially youth and leaders.

The organization provides an overview of mental and emotional health, highlighting the impacts of depression and PTSD. It emphasizes the importance of managing emotions and feelings in daily behaviors, developing the ability to handle life's challenges, and building strong relationships to recover from setbacks. Additionally, TEEC promotes trauma healing awareness, teaching individuals how to cope with grief, anxiety, stress, shame, and post-traumatic stress, while also addressing the impacts of invisible illnesses. We believe that empowering women, girls, and youth is vital to building a peaceful and resilient community.

Local Leadership and Capacity Building

TEEC trains local leadership and volunteers with the goal of equipping them to build the capacity of employees and community. This remains one of the organization's top priorities. The training focuses on acquiring knowledge and best practices for working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and ensuring workforce safety. Additionally, it covers the Employee Code of Conduct and Human Resources Policies.
