TEEC provides free local English literacy courses for young mothers, school dropouts, and war-affected women, helping them build essential language skills and access new opportunities.

TEEC offers free English literacy courses to young mothers, school dropouts, and war-affected women. This program bridges a critical educational gap by making literacy accessible locally—something previously only available far away and at high cost.

Our goal is to help participants achieve proficiency, develop critical thinking, improve comprehension, and increase motivation for lifelong learning. By empowering women and expanding their capabilities, we can help reduce poverty and promote greater participation in the labor market.

We also focus on community engagement to raise awareness about the importance of literacy within the wider community through various events and initiatives. Our objective is to develop foundational skills in reading and writing for women and girls, improving their comprehension so they can move beyond basic literacy. This enables them to engage in deeper analysis and derive meaning from texts.
