TEEC supports internally displaced persons and refugees by providing tailored assistance to those who have lost homes, assets, and access to essential services.

TEEC supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees who arrive with significant loss of homes, assets, and access to services. They are considered a special category of concern, requiring tailored protection and assistance.

IDP/Refugee Support Program

In 2023, TEEC provided shelter to 81 IDPs from active conflict areas. Through partnerships with UNHCR and other organizations, we combine emergency aid with trauma-informed care.
