Protection & Multi-Sector Emergency Assistance: Internally Displace Person IDPs Shelter (IDPS)

ImageImage

TEEC supports internally displaced persons and refugees by providing tailored assistance to those who have lost homes, assets, and access to essential services.

TEEC provided three months of shelter, food items or rations, including medications, as initial support for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees who arrive with significant losses of homes, assets, and access to services. This group is considered a special category of concern and requires tailored protection and assistance.

IDP/Refugee Support Program

In 2023, TEEC built emergency shelters and provided safe spaces for 81 IDPs from active conflict areas. Through partnerships with UNHCR and other organizations, we combine emergency aid with trauma-informed care.
