To offer programming to war-affected newcomers and immigrants including refugees, especially women, to acquire employment and overall wellness in Canada.

Our Mission

The Excel Empowerment Center is here to provide a safe and inclusive space for newcomer immigrants and refugees to express themselves, heal, and gain access to valuable resources. We are committed to promoting emotional and mental wellness through recreational and cultural activities, while also providing English, computer literacy and sewing classes that teach marketable skills to empower women to become economically independent.

Our goal is to foster leadership development and small business training and to provide access to early childhood development and nutrition guidelines to meet basic needs.

We strive to aid, develop, and empower women, youth, girls, and children in our community through education, encouragement, and by changing lives.

Our Vision

Together, by encouraging, and educating, women, including war-affected immigrants and refugees should have the skills, confidence, and emotional wellness they need to succeed. We envision boosting women's ability to support themselves in Canada and South Sudan.

Our Values

Our core values are empowerment, equality, inclusivity, and reconciliation. The center provides a safe and neutral space where women can come together to engage, share their experiences, and work towards common goals. By offering educational training and workshops, fostering skill development, and promoting cross-cultural understanding, our center serves as a hub for women to access support services.
