This program offers social support, healing activities, and a community of peers to help ease the integration process.

Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

A safe, non-judgmental space where women access vital information and support services.

Caring Mother Initiatives (Awareness, Educational, Cultural Wellness, and Recreational Activities: educational workshops, Indigenous games, beading, dancing, cooking, storytelling, and arts and crafts promote emotional and mental wellness, helping participants build connections and community ties.

Food Bank Support: We connect women with Harvest Manitoba to enroll in the food bank program through the First Lutheran Church’s food bank every other week. Additionally, we collect surplus food from Manitoba Harvest and distribute it to women in need, as well as provide food hampers for emergencies.

Counselling and Referrals: We refer women to our sister agencies that provide women with wellness support, including mental health support and counselling services.

Collaboration with Winnipeg English Language Assessment and Referral Centre (WELARC): Our ESL Instructor facilitates appointments for participants for English language testing benchmark assessment, and class recommendations, where participants can work on improving their language skills for work, education, and life in Canada.
