Wheels of Empowerment
We are hosting a fundraiser dinner to support the purchase of a 12 seater van for the newcomer women with a goal of raising $20,000. This vital resource will empower women by providing essential transportation to job interviews and medical appointments. It will also facilitate their participation in English and Computer classes, as well as recreational activities like the swimming program at the YW/MCA. Join us in making a meaningful difference in their lives and helping them seize new opportunities! Every contribution makes difference.
Come and enjoy a special evening featuring a delicious three-course meal of international cuisine, vibrant entertainment by the Ladies of Rwanda and the South Sudan Youth Dancers, a unique stall showcasing handmade items by our women, and soulful acoustic music by Melinda Broomhall
- Dinner is $50 per person
- Donations of $100 or more are eligible for a tax receipt
